Marquese chriss is somewhat of an unknown prospect outside of Washington.  He is extremely athletic similar to a young Josh Smith or Terrance Jones.  He is a good shooter and definitely has the potential to be a stretch 4 in the NBA.  He reminds me of a tad of Quincy Acy with his ability to shoot, but I believe he has more upside.  He is great at catching lobs for the the highlight slams and uses his length to get off jump hook shots over taller defenders.  He is a high energy player who makes his presence felt anytime he’s on the court.  He is quick enough laterally to cover players on the perimeter and has a strong enough to bang with guys in the post.  He has an ideal frame that will be able to bulk up quickly.  His main weakness is his height, he is 6’9″ in shoes and reminds me a bit of Thomas Robinson with his build.  He might continue to grow as he is only 19 years old.  Overall his draft stock is rising and may continue to rise if he does well in the combine and draft workouts.  He has a lot of potential and whether he’s a starter or not, he will definitely be a useful player in the NBA.
