Giles was one of the top prospects in high school prior to injuring his knees, which forced him to sit out 13 months before returning to action with Duke. It may have been better for his draft stock if he had sat out this whole season and focused on rehabbing/conditioning, but it is still encouraging to see him on the court. Giles is slowly starting to regain confidence in his knees as his some of his athleticism is coming back. It’s uncertain of he’ll ever fully recover or if he can stay healthy, but either way Giles has high enough upside to go in the late lottery to mid teens.
