Write Up
Donovan Mitchell has jumped up draft boards due to the strides he’s made this season. He has always been an explosive athlete who can finish in transition, grab rebounds, and defend multiple positions, but recently he’s been improving his scoring ability. He has expanded his shooting touch and is a legitimate enough threat from deep and is able to finish around the basket with floaters and dunks. By all accounts Mitchell is an extremely hard worker and is extremely competitive. He will need to improve his PG skills as he will likely need to be able to play both positions in the NBA. Mitchell has the work ethic and BBIQ to become a good to serviceable player in the NBA and may rise up in the draft standings come June.
