Kay Felder is one of my favorite players in this draft and he put up huge numbers for Oakland this season. He is a great athlete and frequently shows off his quickness and hops as he will cross over defenders to get an open shot or catch lobs for dunks. He is a good shooter from just about anywhere on the court, and is good spotting up or off the bounce. He has an array of moves to get himself open or get his teammates easy baskets. He is a good passer and posted a great 3:1 assist to turnover ratio. He has a body like Nate Robinson, he is very strong and athletic, but he can score like Isaiah Thomas. He is also a good rebounder for his size and averaged more boards than many SG’s in this draft. Felder does have some weaknesses that are pretty glaring and may scare off teams from drafting him. His lack of effort on defense has lowered his stock, it may be due to his heavy load on offense, but he needs to become a pesky defender in the pros. His height and length limit him defensively, and bigger guards will usually shoot/pass over the top or post him up. He has all the tools to be a pesky defender, he just has to take more pride in his defense. Overall Felder could end up being a steal in the draft or a great signing if undrafted.
