Write Up
Jayson Tatum is perhaps the smoothest prospect in this draft, he is a fluid athlete who can score from anywhere on the court and he has all the tools (strength, length, quickness) to be a good defensive player in pros.  His ability to post up, stretch the floor, and push the ball after defensive rebounds makes him a tough cover for defenses and he’ll likely play SF or PF in small ball situations.  As mentioned, he has all the scoring tools to be a great NBA scorer, but he needs to improve his consistency and feel for the game.  Tatum also has the tendency to be a ball stopper, in some cases it’s good when you need him to get buckets, but most of the time it will kill the flow of the offense.  Overall Tatum has a high ceiling and projects to be a good NBA player.
