Write Up
Kyle Kuzma had a solid Junior season and increased his scoring output from 10.8 pts/game to 16.4 pts/game.  He has solid size and athleticism, he’s more of a fluid athlete who can be a good rim runner/slasher in the pros, but he lacks some bounce and struggles against length.  He has stretch 4 potential, but is more of a streaky shooter up to this point.  Kuzma can also put the ball on the floor and has improved his playmaking and creating abilities.  He has decent court vision, but needs to do a better job finding the open man and making simpler passes.  Kuzma has the physical tools to play some SF in the NBA, but will have a tough time adjusting defensively to quicker players.  Lastly, Kuzma isn’t the most physical player and tends to shy away from contact or get pushed around in the post.  He’s going to need to bulk up in order to handle the physical rigors of the NBA.  Overall, Kuzma is a solid prospect worth taking a flier on in the 2nd round, he has good versatility and could be a valuable situational player in the future.
