Write Up
De’Aaron Fox has high NBA upside and has tools that can’t be taught.  He is extremely fast with the ball (especially in transition) and has a good vertical leap.  Defensively he has all the tools to be a stopper at the next level, he isn’t afraid to get into people and pressure them and he has good off ball instincts.  His dribbling ability is one of the best in the draft, he is able to get anywhere he wants on the court and is terrific in pick and roll situations.  He has good vision and will easily find the open man for a lob or cut.  He has good PG size (6’4″) and is versatile enough to play off the ball or guard SG’s.  Fox’s primary weakness is his shooting, while he can knock down the occasional 3 or pull-up, he is not viewed as a shooting threat.  However his shot isn’t broken, he has solid form and a quick release and should improve when he has an NBA shooting coach.  Overall Fox is a starting level PG with a high ceiling and should be a top 10 pick in the draft.
